Over the past 10 years I have designed 3 Bible Study games and 1 world peace megagame.
- Reign of Saul 2-4 players 10-20 minutes
- Kings 2-4 players 10-20 minutes
- The Great Boy 1-3 players 2-3 hours
- ALLIANCE 3-100 players 4 hour event or multiple 1-hour sessions
I’m currently writing the rule book and finishing the art for Reign of Saul. It helps that Amazon Prime released House of David, which helped me to more accurately imagine what these characters might look like.
Great Boy is finished and I successfully Kickstarted it back in 2016. I even toured around East Asia to promote the game in some of the churches that supported the project.
But the most popular of the four games has been ALLIANCE The Ultimate World Leader Political Science Megagame. I have been blessed with the opportunity to host the game for students at churches and universities all over the world. I even got a chance to host the game for 100 players at Gen Con – America’s biggest board game convention in both in 2017 and 2024. At the convention each player paid $40 to play the game!
This last summer I moved back to Houston, and started teaching at Stratford High School. The model U.N. students have asked me to sponsor their club and want to raise funds for a trip to the next Model U.N. event. So we are reaching out to local organizations to see who would be interested in joining or hosting an ALLIANCE Megagame event.
